Introduction to Asana & Pranamaya Class:

Daily, Monday – Friday, 6:30am, free.The morning is an ideal time to connect with the body and breath, and calm your mind through asana. If you are staying at the ashram, you may use this time for private practice on our new covered, open air roof-top yoga shala, which overlooks our lush garden!

Introduction to Satyananda Bihar Yoga:
Fridays, 11:30am -1:00pm, free session.

HATHA YOGAS:
(5-10 day courses)

ASANA, PRANAYAMA, MUDRA, BANDHA SADHANA:
Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced Level Sadhanas (spiritual practice) that can be continued everyday on your own including a balanced range of all practices systematically and fully explained and practiced so that you can imbibe fully.

PRANAYAMAS:
Energy breathing practices to cleanse balance and increase your energies for daily life, stress management and spiritual evolution, including in depth practice and theory.

ADVANCED PRANAYAMAS:
For those who are already practicing and want to go further.

SHATKARMAS: (cleansing practices done with 9% saline water) – (single sessions)

LaghooShankaprakshalana - intestinal wash to cleanse the whole pranic energy body and the alimentary canal, purify the blood & aura in preparation for deep sadhana, also great therapy benefits such as constipation, gas, overweight, diabetes, joint pains, drug rehabilitation etc. leaves you feeling light and pure.

KunjalKriya - upper stomach wash, stimulates a rush of energy upwards, removing energy blocks from chakras, emotional and psychic blockages, relieving breathing problems, acidity & bile, allergy, nose block, sinusitis, headache, migraine and depression.

JalaNeti - nose wash to cleanse and stimulate ajna chakra (third eye), cleanse the nasal passages and sinuses, relieves allergies, cough & cold, sinusitis, ear nose & throat problems.

GENTLE YOGA:
For those who want to go deeper into the subtle levels & develop awareness.

YOGA CHALLENGE:
Intermediate level daily sadhana practice including Surya Namaskara and a balanced set of practices including all movements to balance and awaken the chakras and for good health.

EXTRA YOGA CHALLENGE:
For those who are more flexible and like to do a workout.


HIGHER YOGAS - (Courses are 5-10 days)

MUDRAS & BANDHAS:
psychic locks and attitude links of body, hands & face to awaken and redirect our pranic energies for health and spiritual practice (sadhana).

NAADA YOGA: the yoga of sound - singing thru the chakras, listening to the deep silence, sourcing the deep vibration.

PRANA VIDYA: a Higher Yoga for purifying, balancing & raising the pranic energies, for self purification, energizing & self-healing)

PRATIPAKSHA BHAAVANA - ATTITUDINAL YOGA:
becoming aware of and empowering our attitudes, with ancient techniques from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras; and using them to become happier and more loving individuals.

YOGA MEDITATION FOR HAPPINESS:
how and what yoga meditations to become happier and more fulfilled.

PANCHA MAHA BHUTA MEDITATION: identifying with the individual tattwas or elements and connecting and with their cosmic counterparts. Feeling the Oneness of Creation.

CHAKRA SADHANA: Purifying, balancing & awakening your chakras &nadis and incorporating this into your daily practice.

KRIYA YOGA PREPARATION: Familiarize yourself with the techniques in preparation for Kriya Yoga, the BSY method of Kundalini Raising.

KUNDALINI YOGA:
Practices to purify, balance & awaken the chakras &nadis to further your evolution thru ancient tantric techniques.
